About us

Cheshire Hospices Education (CHE) was started in 1998 as a joint hospice venture to support and enhance the quality of life and care for patients and families far beyond what is possible within the bricks and mortar of one hospice.

Since 1998 CHE has grown in size, experience and influence to become an established palliative care education unit with a reputation for being student and patient centred in its work.

CHE has recently been successfully validated by the University of Bolton who award credits for all our academic courses. As a partner of the University of Bolton, CHE is subject to rigorous monitoring of it's academic standards and quality mechanisms.

We have approximately 1500 attendees per year to our educational events. CHE continues to receive professional, managerial and financial support from its hospice partners: St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice, Winsford and Hospice of the Good Shepherd, Chester.
