Duration: Part 2 (20 credits) - 15 week module - 5 taught days held in first 10 weeks
This module is linked to and follows on from Professsional Development through Enquiry and Analysis Part 1; but may be completed as a stand alone unit by health and social care professionals involved in the synthesis and dissemination of evidence within their day to day practice in a variety of health and social care settings. This module considers the growth of evidence based practice and the impact on patient/client care. It will provide students with the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills of critical thinking and reflection on practice and evidence, through systematic literature searching, critical appraisal of evidence and synthesis of recommendations for evidence based practice.
